Sturgeon
That's a lot of sushi...

This huge Sturgeon was caught on the Willamette River just below Oregon City, Oregon. It weighed out at over 1,000 pounds and measured 11'1". It was 56" around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours, and 4 dozen beers, for the 4 guys taking turns at the reeling it in.  The Sturgeon was released unharmed after the photo was taken.

Sturgeons over five feet long have to be released unharmed and cannot be removed from the water as they are protected for breeding. Sturgeons can live over 100 years, grow 20 feet long and weigh more than 1,500 pounds (680 kg).
